Protests are going across the country to oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC (National Register of Citizens) and NPR. Protests are taking place in various major cities across India.

Recently Hyderabad saw a huge protest rally against the Citizenship Amendment Act. The rally was named “Tiranga Rally” and took place under the leadership of AIMIM (All India Muslim Ittehadul Momineen) President and Hyderabad leader “Asaduddin Owaisi”.

Around 60 petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court against the Citizenship Amendment Act with the opposition claiming that the CAA is against the Indian Constitution and violates Article 14 of the Constitution which grants “Equality to All”.
